On May 10, 2025, CIDA, in partnership with Talent Builders Organization, successfully convened the National Youth Leadership Summit. The event brought together over 100 of the nation’s most promising young change-makers for a day dedicated to forging the next generation of leaders. The summit was built upon four essential pillars designed to holistically empower participants: 1. Foundational Leadership: Building core leadership competencies. 2.  Peace Building & Conflict Resolution: Equipping youth to be agents of peace in their communities. 3. Youth Empowerment: Providing the tools and confidence for active engagement in leadership positions. 4. Peace Sustainability & Emotional Intelligence: Fostering the emotional skills necessary for sustainable, empathetic leadership. This collaboration was more than an event; it was a catalyst for action.
